Adventure Elopement Packages and Locations.
4 easy steps to plan
your elopement

We are so excited you are considering Adventure Elopement as a clever alternative to the stress and expense of a formal big wedding! We bet you have lots of questions and don’t know where to start, don’t worry we are here to help you with some answers.

When it comes to big weddings there are lots of people who have done it before (including professional planners) so it is pretty easy to find help. But with elopements, especially the adventurous ones, you may not know where to begin. That is why we wrote this article!

It should help you to answer questions like:

-How to choose the location that speaks to you?
-How to pick the elopement package that suits your needs the best?
-Do packages include an Officiant and photographer?
-Will my marriage be legally recognized?
-What if I want to elope outside of the United States?

We are here to help you to make the right decision with our 4 easy step guide! So here we go…

Step one: decide how adventurous you want your Elopement to be

The first step is to ask yourself “how adventurous am I?”. Do you want to hike to the top of the mountain to say your vows?
Or maybe kayak in your gown to a secret beach… Or have the ceremony 1000 feet above the ground in a hot air balloon? (Honestly, the options are pretty much limitless, just use your imagination or ask us for more suggestions).

If you don’t want to do anything extravagant or exotic that it is totally fine too! Maybe the decision to Elope instead of having a big wedding is adventurous enough for you, and all you need is a simple ceremony just for two of you (and possibly a few friends or family). Or… Maybe your idea of adventure is traveling the world! Imagine taking an incredible trip somewhere say, Iceland or Indonesia or Spain and get married on one of the magic days of your traveling adventure! Wouldn’t that be awesome? This way you can combine your wedding and the honeymoon.

Step two: decide which Adventure Elopement Package fits your time frame and budget the best

Now that you have decided how adventurous you want to be on “your day”, time to get to step 2 and select which Elopement package works for you.

  1. Tahoe Adventure – is a 2-hour officiant and photographer package in one of our preselected locations near Lake Tahoe. All locations are easy to access on foot and have parking. Our personal favorite location for Tahoe elopement is Emerald Bay State Park (which can get really busy during the summer months, but we have a secret spot to take beautiful pictures of your private ceremony that most people are not aware of.)
  2. Epic Adventure – is a 4-8 hour officiant and photographer package in a location of your choice that would require hiking, kayaking or a hot air balloon ride. If you want to ski tour or hike to a secret (or not so secret) waterfall we are totally with you!
  3. World Adventure – this package includes officiant and the photographer for a whole day in a location of your choice worldwide. We help you plan the whole thing, so don’t worry. With more than 10 years of experience in the travel industry, it is safe to say we are quite competent to answer your questions about flights, visas, travel documents, lodging and more.

No matter which elopement package you will choose, we always leave some room for flexibility to customize it to your needs.

Step three: Choose the location.

Now that you have chosen how much traveling and activities you want to do for your Elopement and learned about our packages, you just need to decide where you want to go. We suggest starting with simply thinking of what place would make you happy? Is it in the mountains? On a beach? In a rainforest? Is it cold or warm? Are other people included? Once you can start painting that picture for yourself, we can take it from there and help you with suggestions.
